Professional History

Designer. Developer. Director.

  • FREELANCE DESIGNER — In 2011 I started my career as a freelance graphic designer and artworker for organisations and individuals across the UK.

  • MODEMKILLER BRAND  — In 2022 I formalised my artworking brand and developed its online presence across artwork-oriented markets.

  • SQUINTY PIXELS LTD — I joined Squinty Pixels in 2022. My role covered design, videography, web design, development, networking and project management.

  • MODEMKILLER LTD — Formal incorporation in May 2025. As director and sole employee I'm responsible for business operations, networking strategy, web design, web development, ongoing support and consultation. This launch was catalysed by the experience I gained delivering websites for Squinty Pixels since 2022.

Higher Education

BSc (Hons), Computer Animation & Digital Art — UWS, 2010

I graduated from the University of the West of Scotland in 2010 with a joint Bachelor of Science Honours (BSc Hons) degree in Computer Animation and digital art. This broad digital course was the first of its kind at UWS, which in my first year was still named the University of Paisley. The course itself focused on everything from the principles of animation and the history of design software to exploring frontiers of multi-media platforms, blogging and websites.

  • BSc Honours in Computer Animation & Digital Art

  • Decades of design experience

  • Locally oriented: Glasgow, Paisley and Renfrew
